Well we made it to langley, BC. After a very long day...
We started today with packing and laundry, Ellen was a huge help is trying to load the car. We all had faith it would fit in my mistubishi outlander but we were oh so wrong! After trying every different way possible we decided putting it on the roof was the only option! Luckily we had a thing for that lol! after putting it on upside down we were able to get it right and tight :) we loaded up the back, the diaper bag and the kids and decided why not, let's run errands lol. After spending some quality time with Kristine and Ellen (running errands and lunch) we had to say a tearful goodbye! I don't know where I would be without them, this past year has been the hardest of my life and it's because of them I am still standing strong! Thank goodness for Skype and phones :)
Mom and I hit the road around 5, slow and steady, we made one stop for diaper changes around 630, at 645 I had two screaming babys! So we found the nearest McDonald's that had a toy structure and let kolby loose, Kyler just wanted real food :) kolby was doing great until he climbed too high and got stuck :/ luckily there was another family there who's kids jumped up to help him.out :) he made it out with a smile, but I decided it was a good time to go!
Mom took kolby to change his diaper while I loaded kyler and started a new movie, when I looked up mom was coming out in tears. Kolby was asking for aunt po and lj. . He just doesn't understand and it's heart breaking. IV been trying to stay strong but I see myself breaking down here in the hotel while everyone sleeps. For the past year we have lived in a busy house where him and I both knew if we needed anything or anyone they were right there, I know they will still be there but just a little farther and that's the hard part!
But for now we are here in langley BC both boys washed in pj's and fast asleep! Tomorrow will be an early start, get us all ready, feed the boys breakfast then put the puzzle of the car back together :) tomorrow is an 8 hour drive to prince George.
I know the tears will come, sadness and exhaustion but happiness as well; to be starting the next chapter in our lives as a family :)
Goodnight all, until tomorrow :)
